We are located in the heart of CBD, Sydney. Our college building
is fully air-conditioned and our classrooms are spacious providing
relaxed atmosphere for students to study. Our labs are equipped
with latest technology computers for students to use. We provide
free Internet access for all our students to keep in touch with
their loved ones overseas.
Being in the heart of CBD, transport is just steps away and our
building is surrounded by café, parks & shops.
IIBIT offers modern facilities and highly experienced and qualified staff. It is located in the center of Sydney and easily accessed by public transport.
Students have access to computer labs for Internet and research use. All English students have access to English learning software specific to their course. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with audio-visual equipment for learning. The college is also equipped with a student lounge and student notice boards.

Teaching Methods
The approach to language teaching is communicative, with emphasis placed both on the presentation and practice of target language and on the consolidation and extension of language skills through the use of task-based learning activities. The method of teaching in the more advanced courses such as EAP focuses on helping the student become more self-determined and thus able to learn using strategies that most suitable for him/her.
Assessment Methods
Combinations of Assessment Methodologies such as Practical exercises,
Communication tasks, Discussions, Projects, Presentations & Examinations
are made use of to assess the students.
Study Environment
All the classrooms are spacious and well equipped with audio Visual
Facilities. The computer labs are equipped with high speed and
powerful computers with all the required software. Each computer
has access to the Internet and is connected to the IIBIT network
system. IIBIT provides an individual computer terminal for every
student in tutorial sessions.
Students Counseling
Lecturers are available to assist students with learning difficulties. If the student's own lecturer is unavailable students are free to approach their faculty director who will organise assistance. Students with personal or legal problems should see student services staff, who will be able to assist or refer the student to the college counselor.
Recreational Facilities
IIBIT is equipped with the areas like the student lounge and study
rooms that are available to all students. The student lounge includes
kitchen facilities, Microwave ovens, Refrigerator, Snack vending
machines etc and areas for students to socialize and relax outside
of study time. The lounge also has a pay phone facility.
Students can refer to the noticeboards in the entrance lobby and in the student lounge for any current social events held by the college and for information about recreational events and facilities in Sydney.
