  • Completion of (at least) a 3-year degree program or equivalent from a recognised university, or 3-year tertiary Diploma at an agreed standard with a major in computing or information technology
  • Required proficiency in English. IELTS overall band score 6.0 with no band less than 5.5

Program Overview & Objectives

The Graduate Diploma of Information Technology is designed for graduates with an undergraduate degree in areas other than computing or information technology. The course offers continuing education at a graduate level for professionals from all disciplines. A background in computing is not required.

Successful completion of this program will give you the foundation, knowledge and skills to:

  • Be familiar with the theoretical basis of Information Technology
  • Demonstrate appropriate project management principles and techniques
  • Demonstrate the programming skills required to architect and implement complex computer systems
  • Analyse, design and implement software systems, including functional, relational and object-oriented methodologies
  • Communicate, in written and oral form, your own work and the work of others.
  • Discuss the latest developments in IT
