Admission Requirements

  • Completion of (at least) a 3-year degree course, or 3-year tertiary Diploma at an agreed standard with a major in
    computing or information technology, or equivalent from a recognised university
  • Required proficiency in English (IELTS Band score 6.0 and no band less than 5.5)

Course Overview

The Graduate Diploma of Information Technology Management is designed specifically for students with a background in IT or computing who aspire to be IT managers and require an understanding of the strategic management of IT resources within IT departments and organisations.

On completion of this course graduates should be able to:

  • contribute in the application of information technology to support business organisations;
  • understand the impact of technology in organisations;
  • recognise threats and opportunities of technology in business;
  • use a range of effective communication strategies.

Completion of this course will provide graduates with a good grounding for employment in related areas in the settings of industry, commerce or government.
