Course Outline:This program examines organisational and technological issues required to analyse and design business information systems. Throughout the program, you will develop an understanding of organisational settings, recognising technology threats and opportunities, utilising modern principles and theories with practical applications. Subjects such as information security, multimedia, knowledge management, databases and emerging technologies in business will help you become familiar with the latest developments in IT, as well as different types of tools and their applications. Electives will compliment your IT degree, allowing you to build your business acumen with subjects including the theory and practice of managing people to build knowledge and understanding of workplace behaviour. |

Entry into the Second year of the program can be considered on successful completion of ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology or ICT6020 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology from IIBIT. Credit will be considered if you have successfully completed higher education or TAFE studies in a relevant area. Advanced standing will be determined on an individual basis, depending on your eligibility for credit transfer, prior experience, and qualifications. |
