For students who do not meet the English program entry requirements, they can take an English placement test with IIBIT to assess whether their English level can meet the requirements of entry into the course.

Academic
The English and Academic Preparation (EAP) program is a non-award University accredited access and preparatory pathway program for non-English speaking background international students intending to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate degree studies at Federation University Australia. This is suitable for students needing to meet the equivalent of an IELTS 6.0 overall (with no band less than 6.0), IELTS 6.5 overall (with no band less than 6.0), or IELTS 7.0 overall (with no band less than 6.5) to commence study.
There are a number of pathway options with Federation university . You may choose to apply for a course with more manageable entry requirements then transfer into your desired degree. Entry requirements and may vary between courses, so you are likely to find a course to suit your needs.
You can also think about entering your chosen field at postgraduate level once you’ve graduated from an undergraduate degree.
