Smart and Skilled is a reform of the NSW Vocational Education and Training (VET) system. It’s helping people in NSW get the skills they need to find a job and advance their careers.

To apply for NSW Smart and Skilled subsidies with National Training Solutions simply contact us and we can send you the forms required along with ‘how to complete information.
Some information you will need prior to completing the application forms is a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Everyone undertaking nationally recognised vocational training in Australia needs a USI. It enables students to access their training records and results. If you don’t have one you can get one easily by going to the www.usi.gov.au
You’ll also need to provide proof of identity/residency documents such as your passport, citizenship certificate, driver's license or Medicare card as well as complete a form to consent to the use and disclosure of personal information.
What is WorkReady?
WorkReady is a South Australian government initiative that brings together funding for training, employment and skills activities. WorkReady is about targeting training and employment opportunities to the needs of people, strategic industries and regions. Individuals need to meet course entry requirements and verify their eligibility for enrolment before being enrolled in a government subsidised training place.

Please note: Proof of eligibility for concession must be demonstrated at the time of enrolment. If the concession is valid for the full enrolment period, then all eligible units commenced within that period attract the concession rate. If the concession is valid for part of the enrolment period, then only eligible units commenced prior to the expiry of the concession attract the concession rate.
